I had the pleasure of attending a breathtaking performance by the Colors of music under the direction of Lee Pringle. Set in a stunning, chapel-like venue that was filled to capacity, the evening was not only musically rich but also deeply educational.

Lee Pringle opened the evening by introducing the audience to the Baroque period, setting the stage for a unique blend of classical artistry and cultural heritage. What made this performance even more special was its focus on highlighting African American contributions to the classical music world shining a much needed light on Black excellence in a space where it is often underrepresented.
The choir’s powerful vocals, combined with historical context and heartfelt passion, created a memorable night that moved and inspired everyone in attendance. It was more than a concert it was an experience of cultural celebration and musical mastery.
